I've got an idea! Why don't you call this former priest and say "I deeply regret that you had to leave the Church, but I wish you to know I hold towards you no ill will. If you would accept me I would be deeply honored if I was to be the one that would join you and your bride in holy matrimony. I have to come to The United States to do some work for God. I would like to take the time during that trip to perform this service for you. Would you honor me by letting me do so?"
God isn't here this morning but I am sure He'd bless this idea. I think it would be perfect! I think you can understand why God wants me to be a cardinal and undo the errors in the Church. After all, it is my people that gave you your faith. No one could truly understand it better than I. In my many lifetimes on Haven I was a priest more than once.
We do not want you to pass away. Many of Us might not follow The Haven Way any more, but We do not want the good aspects of it to fade away forever. A part of Us would be lost with it. But We must protect Our children, We must protect mankind. If it will drag them down into eternal death it must be ended. We ask you not to make Us do that. We ask you to help Us purify it so it will go with Us to the stars. We ask all the world to help Us reach you so you will hear Us and join Us.
