Spell For Healing
Place in your candle holder a blue candle. Set it in the middle of the room and light it. Place before it your pen and ink and paper. Take your staff and repeat the Prayer Of Protection, then, starting at the north holding your staff vertically before you, repeat this prayer;
"Oh Blessed Fathers and Holy Mothers of The North, hear my prayer. One of your servants is in need of healing, for the disease of the flesh and mind overcome them. Send forth Thy Power, Oh, Lords, that they may be strengthened and brought back to the state of perfect health."
After repeating this prayer at all four points of the compass, stand on the southern side of the candle facing north. Kneel down and place your staff on the northern side of the candle. Take your pen and paper and write this petition to The Lords. (PRINT: DO NOT WRITE!)
"A Petition to The Holy Lords Of Spirit. To Their High Council And Low Councils, and to Their Servants on All Levels from Their Servant,
Oh, Holy Lords, your Sister (or Brother,) (place name of one desiring healing here, ) is ill with (place name of illness here,) and needs the Great Power of Your Strength to overcome this malfunction of the flesh. We pray, Oh Lords, you send forth Thy healing, that your servant be restored and again comes to Thy Service."
(If the person needing healing is a non-believer, substitute the words "Oh Holy Lords, our friend (place their name here) is ill and needs Your Great Healing Power. Send it forth, Oh Lords, that they may again be well.")
Lay the petition to the side and take two clean sheets of paper, and print on one of them "Petitions To The Lords." Be sure to put the words in the center of the paper and one beneath the other. (If one can afford it, two pieces of white leather may be used for this purpose, the top one bearing the same writing as the cover sheet of the paper.) Place the petition between these two sheets of paper and put it before the candle holder. Pick up your staff and stand erect, hold it vertically, and repeat the prayer;
"Oh Blessed Lords of Spirit, we send You forth to do your good, for we know you will not forsake Your Children in need. Blessed be, Oh Lords, for Your protection and Power."
Return the Staff to the northern side of the candle holder. The spell is completed. Leave the Staff and Petition where they lie, until the candle burns out, then place the Petition on your family altar beneath the candleholder.
