The Proper Conducting Of A Message Meeting (Seance)
Let us first state that the subject we are now dealing with is
no game to be taken lightly in a humorous manner. More people
have been hurt by approaching a seance as a joke or a game and
calling forth the lowest and most vile of Spirits and causing
themselves great harm, and causing a bad name for one of the
greatest Powers in the Universe. If you think of a seance as just
a trick or something fun to do, close this book and return it to
its senders, but if you are serious and those you are with are
serious, you may continue.
The message service is sometimes one of The Lords' most beautiful
phenomenas. In small groups it is usually very beneificial, but
do not try with much more than ten or twelve, as beyond this it
becomes too much for a worker to handle, and that is one of the
most important things about carrying on a seance. Have a good
Sensitive to lead it, and bear the messages. Never try to conduct
a seance as a novice. The results will be poor at best, and
perhaps even dangerous.
Begin by forming a circle alternately, male and female, and have
the worker as much to the center of the circle as possible. It is
best to be seated during the message service and remain so. Those
that may have to get up to answer doors and handle other
emergencies, should place themselves near the door and preferably
at the message bearer's back. Repeat The Prayer Of Protection
three times, and then pray;
"Oh, Blessed Fathers and Holy Mothers, Oh Sacred Ones who
have gone before, send forth Thy words of wisdom, Oh Lords, of
guidance and strength to Your Children."
After this, one or two favorite hymns may be sung. Spirit
loves music and it always helps them come forth. The message
bearer should then be able to hear Spirit and begin relating
messages to those present. He or she should speak and give some
message to each person present, but if they become too tired to
reach everyone, they should stop and conclude the message service
with this prayer;
"Oh, Blessed Lords, we give thanks that You have come
among us. Go forth, Oh Lords, with our blessings, as You have
blessed us."
Time should be taken for conversation and fellowship after a message service. It should not be concluded, then everyone hurrying off. You have drawn a great deal of Power. Let it stabilize before you go forth among those who are not capable of handling the flow. You should wait at least twenty or thirty minutes before leaving the message room.
