Trade With China
It should be the purpose of every Christian to abolish
special trade status for China. Such status gives China unfair
advantage over others, and should not be allowed as long as China
mistreats its people, imprisons those who speak out against the
corruption of their government, who carries on trade by having their
people work in virtual slave conditions.
The workers of The United States cannot compete with
slavery, and their government should not allow trade with ANY nation
that causes them to do so. Every Christian should accept free commerce,
but when a nation is
taking unfair advantage the American people should speak up, should say
"Whoa!
Wait a minute! This simply isn't right! Give our people a fair deal!"
and
they should remove from office anyone who doesn't give their people a
fair
deal. This is in no way unjust, or unkind to other nations. It is
merely seeking
just and equal treatment for all. To trade with a nation that treats
its
own people like slaves is bad enough, but to give them SPECIAL trading
privileges
is altogether unacceptable, and every TRUE Christian should know this,
and
fight this with all their resolve.
