Jesus' Letter To Chinese Americans

I'm Speaker Gerald Polley! I'm currently trying to put together a campaign for The Presidency Of The United States, and I will be seeking the support of The Chinese American Community and wondered how they would feel about certain things that I would support if I was President, if China wanted to stay on good terms with The United States and remain a favored trading partner.

1. I would invite The Dalai Lama to The White House for lunch and I would make it known to the world that I consider Tibet a free and independent country that has been invaded by The Chinese and is being illegally occupied. That The Chinese should immediately remove its troops and colonists from Tibet, and return Tibet to The Tibetan People, then, establish good relations with them. But The Chinese Government will not be in my good favor as long as they occupy Tibet and brutalize The Tibetan People.

2. I would invite The President Of Taiwan to The White House for lunch, and I would make it clear that I consider Taiwan a free and independent nation, a totally different culture from The Mainland Chinese. Taiwan was created by The United States to block the spread of communism in Asia. We created a totally different society that exists with the rest of The Chinese People. They may share common ancestry, but their sociologies are incompatible. I will insist that The Chinese Government recognize the independence of Taiwan and that they establish a nonaggression treaty with them, and end for all times, any threats of an invasion, that they will not carry on military maneuvers anywhere near Taiwan in the future. They will express their good will towards Taiwan, and live in harmony with their neighbors, if they wish to continue the status that they now have. I do not appreciate schoolyard bullies that are trying to take over the yard and run the school! China is a great nation. If it lives in peace with its neighbors it can be a greater nation. It can go to the stars and find a respected place among mankind. But its leaders have to grow up and stop acting like spoiled children and start acting like rational adults!

3. I will insist that the treatment of The Chinese People in their own country be improved, that people be allowed to worship as they wish, not be controlled by the state run religions. That if they wish to, they can worship in their own homes and follow their beliefs as they see them, as long as they do no harm to others. Of course if any group becomes fanatical and starts threatening to kill people, if they are different and will not accept their doctrines, The Chinese Government has a right to protect its people. But as long as people of differing religions are living together with one another and not bothering each other, they should be able to practice their religions in peace, and not be dominated by the government.

These are just three of the things that I would work on if I was President, that I would be encouraging the Chinese government to do. I would be very interested in knowing how the Chinese community in The United States would feel on these issues. Would they support me for The Presidency if I would do these things? And what further things would they be interested in? If you could give me your comments on these matters I would gratefully appreciate them!
