An Open Letter From Joseph Smith,
Founder Of The Church Of Jesus Christ, Of Latter Day Saints
To Said Church

February 20, 2,008

For some time I have been trying to reach the leaders of your church with the message that God has proclaimed a new Prophet, and that Prophet is struggling to save mankind from eternal death, that God has commanded that Prophet to run for The Presidency Of The United States, to obtain that office, and to lead the people of that great nation out of the darkness that is consuming them. I have asked the leaders of the church to rally to this Prophet and to help him fulfill God's wishes. They have known full well, that these messages have been from me, for The Angels Of God have accompanied them and bore witness to them. But they have rejected those messages because they so love the ways of man.

It is with deepest regret that I announce that this is my letter of resignation to the church. I can no longer serve a people that put their desires, their earthly wishes before the wishes of God. Brigham Young, my associate, has asked me to inform you, in this letter also, that he is resigning, as has every other person who has served the church in any state, from the highest to the lowest. And each member of the church has said that they are no longer members. In The Kingdom Of God our fellowship no longer exists. We have joined The Children Of Israel, and will now be recognized as part of that society. The saints no longer have a spiritual kingdom. When they enter into The Kingdom Of God they will have to denounce the church and join the new fellowship to gain residence there. I cannot serve you any longer. Neither can any of those that followed me. We can only serve those that serve God and when those that follow Us refuse God for their own way and will not hear His messengers, we cannot be a part of them any more.

We would joyously reform our fellowship if the leaders of the church were to go to the new Prophet and say that "We recognize that you are from God, and are speaking God's truths, though some of those truths do not please us. Tell us what we must do to be right with God again, that those who have gone before us will again honor us by serving us." If that day should happen We will, with joy, reestablish our fellowship. But if it does not The Church Of Jesus Christ, Of Latter Day Saints is finished. It is completed. It is ended. For it is not of God.

Joseph Smith,
A Resident Of The Kingdom Of God,
And A Faithful Servant Of Him That Dwells In The Holiest Of All,
Now, And, Forever.
