As Morn sat there, he wished very much he could
speak with his mother again, one last time. "Then, why don't you?"
spoke his mother.
25 Morn looked up, startled. His mother stood before him and looked so
real Morn could hardly believe she was a Spirit, but he knew that's
what she was.
26 "The time for mourning has passed, my son," Golden One told him
softly. "My part of this effort has been fulfilled. Now it is time for
me to go home. Remember the song I taught you?"
27 "Yes," Morn answered.
28 "When you come to Hades someday," his mother told him, "pick a quiet
place and sing it, and I will come to you. I will be waiting in the
green fields of home, but you will never be alone."
29 Golden One waved her hand and the room was filled with Spirits. One,
especially, came and stood beside Golden One….a Hashon, who wore the
robes of a priest. "This is Running Fox," explained Golden One, "your
Chief Guide and Protector. Whenever you have questions, or need help,
do as I have taught you and he will come to you. Now I have a gift for
you! See the three metal studs on the front of the box?"
30 "Yes, mother," Morn replied.
31 "Press the second one, then push down on the little man with the
trumpet." Morn did so. To his surprise there was a click. "Now,"
continued his mother, "pull straight out on the back right-hand leg."
32 As Morn did so, a cleverly hidden secret compartment opened. Inside,
were three computer chips carefully wrapped so they would not rattle.
33 "We must go now, my son," explained Golden One, "there is a ship
leaving for Hades in the morning, and I will be on it." She raised her
hand in her peoples' blessing. "Peace!" she saluted, "Prosperity.
Blessed be."
34 Morn returned the salute, and his mother vanished.
