81 Morn' s Aid stepped out of the door. "I wish
you didn't have to go in there, sir," he announced.
82 Morn pushed him aside and walked in the apartment. It was one of the
lowest class type, just a little kitchen, a living area all in one, and
a bedroom. There was a common bathroom down the hall.
83 In the middle of the living area on the floor, were the bodies of a
Haven man, a Hashon woman, and a young half-blood child. They had been
literally taken apart, piece by piece. Bits of their bodies were
scattered all about the room, as if the attackers had simply thrown
them away when they were done. Morn fought to contro1 his composure.
"Any idea who did this?" he asked.
84 "We KNOW who did it, sir," the Aide announced. "We have them under
observation right now. It was the building's Landlord and about forty
of the residents. The neighbor was able to give us almost every one of
their names and their apartment numbers. We've only been waiting for

85 The Aide began to weep and Morn put his hand on his shoulder. "Come
on" he ordered, "let's go pick them up." The man nodded.
86 Morn gathered more men in the halls and made his way to the
Manager's apartment. When they reached it the door was slightly open
and the sound of music and laughter reached them...and the faint scent
of a certain odor reached Morn's nose. "Breathers! " he ordered, "Put
on your breathers. They're smoking Hashon Blue Grass. That stuff will
knock your butts off."
