81 Morn returned to his command deck and got under way , these disturbing thoughts running through his mind. But the scouts reported it was staying right where it had been, working feverishly on its engine modifications.
82 Hour after hour slipped by until they got into position on the far side of the planet, undetected. Both Morn and North breathed a sigh of relief. Gray Mountain was already moving in, steadily advancing on the automatic which seemed to pay him and his task force little heed. "It must by now realize that we're not with the main force," Morn tight beamed to North. "It's got to be wondering where we are."
