35 "It will all be arranged,” agreed Morn, "good journey home."
36 "For you, also,” wished The Lord God, "a good journey home. I have an uneasy feeling, Morn, that we will someday meet again, you, North, and I, and it will not be a pleasant meeting!"
37 Morn nodded, then The Lord God and his escort returned to their vessel. The hatch shut, its Engine powered up and it lifted skyward. Morn entered his own craft, took the Pilot's seat, shut the hatch and powered up the ship. He hesitated for a few moments as if he was considering something, then activated the vessel's weapon system.
38 He lifted slowly arching by the bleachers. On the screen the targeting dot lined up on the body of the Priest, and as they passed over, Morn pressed the firing stud. The twin beams converged and swept over the body. As the craft rose skyward only ashes and dust were left to blow away on the wind.
39 Morn deactivated the weapons, and glanced over towards North, who nodded. "I never liked worms or maggots either!" he groaned. It wasn't really funny, but the others laughed, and even Morn managed to smile.
40 Panic broke out on The Morning Star when Morn ordered Medical Teams meet them, and a deluge of questions came flying at them. "Everything's satisfactory," assured Morn, "but we have three injured, one serious, two minor. I'll explain everything later."
41 Morn looked back and noticed the General was still bound. "By The Lords Holy!" he snapped, "Somebody cut those binders and try to make that man more comfortable!"
42 One of the Security Men quickly obliged. Barely did their shuttle dock than the Morning Star
