30 All three ships disappeared in a blazing flash. At that same moment,
the crystal dropped in North's ship. Simultaneously the crystal
container from one of the other vessels ejected, going directly up the
tube of one of North's engines. These containers were designed to
withstand almost anything but nothing could withstand a direct
positive-negative reaction.
31 The capsule disintegrated and the crystals it contained ignited. The
Morning Star, pushed off-line by the explosion behind it, and burning
far more crystals than any ship ever had before, leaped, disappeared
from existence, and reappeared far from where she had intended ... VERY
far!
