Chapter Seventy-One

    "It's over," sighed North. "My people are finally free! That thing that has enslaved them for so long, has finally perished, and now they are free to follow their own Destiny!"
2 "It will take time, though," Morn warned, "for the damage it has done to be reversed. Your people have been selectively bred to be aggressive, domineering. It will take perhaps ten-thousand years for that which has been bred into them to be eroded away.
3 The battle is not yet over, but the tide has now turned, and the hours of their system are numbered, though there will be much sorrow and suffering before the last Haven Soul turns back to the Light. What we did today makes that journey possible.
4 Eventually only the good in them will survive, and the Hour will come when THAT will dominate. Let us pray that all their material existence must not perish first. For if it does, surely they will drag most of us down with them. Now come, First Speaker, you must return to Hades and take your Seat Of Office."
5 "Now WAIT a minute! " North argued, "I'm not going to be First Speaker! You've got plenty of others to do that…….you don't need me!"
6 "I'm afraid," argued Morn, "the die is already cast and you cannot escape you Destiny."
7 "You mean," growled North, "I can't escape that trap you so carefully set for me! Every step I have ever taken you had planned out before I took it!"
8 "You are your own man," Morn assured, "I merely put you in the right position to choose the Course you would follow. You always chose the right one! Being First Speaker won't be that bad!
