27 North was quick to respond, his own native
sons were more than willing to protect their mother's people. After
three vicious encounters with them, The Goddens' Forces learned their
lesson and stayed in their own gardens, except those who slipped out
peacefully now and then, to trade with the natives for the pleasures
they wanted.
28 The Lord God disapproved of this, but he was already having trouble
controlling the aggressiveness he had put in these people and The Voice
had a feeling The Lord God had bitten off far more than he could chew.
These people could be extremely dangerous.
29 But things settled down, and years went by of relative peace with
both colonies growing. A large city of The Lord God's servants
flourished some distance from Eden, where they tended the city's
gardens, and harvested timber from the forests.
