92 "You bear The Lords Symbol!" she marveled. "A
perfect Star! That means you'll have Holy Children; Magical Children!
Legend says both The Dove's mother and The Hawk's mother bore The Star
of Spirit."
93 "I'm descended from both of them!" announced Mountain Glory. The
woman made The Sign of The Star and went off to get some other things.
94 Mountain Glory finally decided on four dresses, belts and things, to
go with them, plenty of stockings and under things, and a nightgown and
robe that left little to the imagination. She put her uniform in a box,
wrote a check for the things, and started out the door.
95 "My lady!" cried the Clerk, "Those military boots just don't go with
that outfit. I have a friend in a shoe shop just across the street.
I'll call him up and tell him what you need."
96 A few minutes later, her boots in a package and nice comfortable
shoes on her feet, Mountain Glory started back for her car. As she
passed a weapon's
store, she stopped and went inside. When the Clerk looked up, he nearly
fainted away! "Yes, ma'am! " he asked, "Can I help you?"
97 "Do you have any fancy holsters?" inquired Mountain Glory, "and five
round Lady Hawks?"
98 The man showed her several different outfits. "This one," he
announced, "barely looks like a holster. It's quick-release, and
there's three extra clips concealed in the belt. But ma'am," he
remarked, "all Lady Hawks are heavy caliber weapons. They're nothing
for amateurs."
99 "Neither is this!" snapped Mountain Glory, pulling her regular piece
out of the box. "I'm fully qualified with this, I think I can handle a
Lady Hawk!"
100 The Clerk nodded. "Don't wrap it," continued Mountain Glory, "Load
it. I'm going to take it with me. "
101 The Clerk loaded the piece and the extra clips while she wrote the
