sir, I AM your enemy!"
56 All but a few that still remained in the arena were on their feet
clapping and cheering, as Gray Boar walked out, got in his car, and
drove away.
57 As the Committee and its Chairman went to leave the arena, a
Guardian and several Officers approached them. "Gentlemen," announced
the Guardian, "I have warrants for your arrest, on charges of fraud.
You will accompany me, please."
58 The Committee members were tried, but the Judges could not decide
whether they were involved in fraud or not. Though it was obvious
something was not right, their claims that people in their organization
had deceived them were possible, so they recommended that they be released, but that
their organization be disbanded, its funds seized.
59 This was done, but the group quickly reorganized as the Committee
for Reasonable Laws, but their power
was already broken, and Gray Boar saw to it they did not gain power
again. After a while the movement became a forgotten idea.
