219 And they probe our positions daily, looking for any sign of weakness. We must not consider for a moment, that they are finished. They are like a mad, sleeping dog. While it sleeps, it is not dangerous, but when it awakens it is a walking terror."
220 As if to emphasize his warning, only a few hours after his speech was broadcast, hornet bombs fell on Blossom, Junction, Lo, Bandit, Rail. The Oneness was by no means yet down. They still had plenty of fight.
221 But it didn't take Mountain Glory long to figure out how the hornet bombs worked, and she soon designed fighters using their own principle, that were faster than the enemy's buzzing terror.
222 Gray Boar decided to leave the enemy be. He was not going to waste lives trying to break into their stronghold. His people could easily defend themselves.  It might take many seasons, but eventually they'd find a way to destroy their barriers and finish it. But until then, they could keep them snug in their own territory without too much trouble.
223 Mountain Glory began to work on the design of a new bomber she called The Flying Fortress. It would have four engines, be equipped with twelve machine rifles, and be able to fly higher and faster than any enemy fighter; so high, that it would be able to fly over the summer dust storms and attack the enemy, day or night.
224 It was not many seasons before thousands of these planes made life a living agony for The Oneness. Striking from bases far out of their reach, they destroyed their railroads as fast as they repaired them,
