142 Now, The Lords are happiness, Truth, joy, mercy. If any person says
to you, "Hate! Hate! Destroy! Rise up in anger! The Lords tell you to bring down this one, or, that
one!" know you also that they are liars and not of The Lords. The Lords
will say fight and protect, but They will never tell you to hate and
destroy, because someone is different from you. Know you without doubt,
that person does not speak for The Lords.
143 In these ways can you tell if a Speaker is true. In these ways can
you know that they speak for The Lords.’
144 'But surely, Lord,’argued one of the young men, 'there must be
another way!'
145 'There is one,' agreed The Hawk, 'perhaps one of the easiest. If a
Speaker says to you 'I do this and I do that, and by my power this is
done,' then know without doubt he is not one with The Lords. For the
one with The Lords will always say that 'We do this or we do that,'
meaning that with The Lords Help they accomplish wonders. Any man that
brags on himself takes the credit for the wonders he performs; that man
is not one with The Lords.’
