Chapter Three
Now, The Teacher of The One was happy when his companions returned, for
the reports of their good work had come back to him, and he was
pleased. He left his bride with child.
2 "Remember," he told his companions, "no man other than you must know
she and the child exist. The blood line that we have made must
not perish. Now we journey back to the capitol, for the time has come
for The Prophecies to be fulfilled. "
3 As they marched The Former Harlot asked, "Shall we stop at one of
these villages and find the proper lamb?"
4 The Young Student bowed his head. "We do not need to find a lamb," he
said. "Do you not understand what he has been telling you? Do you not
hear the words he has said? He IS the sacrifice. From the very
beginning to the last hour this was the intent. Only HIS blood, only HIS sacrifice can bring
an end to the necessity of further blood-letting. HE is The Perfect
Lamb, The Unsoiled Vessel. "
5 Now the other companions shook their hands and wailed. "This cannot
be! How can we sacrifice The Light of The World?"
6 "Precisely," wept The Student, "because he IS The Light Of The World,
the hope, the love. Through him shall the passage be made clear.
By his love shall the separation from our parent's sin be ended. No
lamb could do what he is about to do.
7 Because he will shed his blood for us, he can put his mark on us,
claim us before the Father. He may wipe out the wrongs we have done by
saying to The Father, 'This one is claimed by
