20 So they began to plan their plans. One evening, but a short time before they were to march, Thorn Blossom came late one night to Shy Fox's house. She was in tears. "I can't stay in The First Speaker's House any more!" she wept, "I can't! As long as that horrible woman is there, I will stay in YOUR house!"
21 "Calm down, woman," commanded Shy Fox, "tell me, what has happened?"
22 "I was taking a bath," thorn Blossom explained, "when I heard her telling the maids to leave. I thought it strange, because it was early yet. When I got out of the bath, and was drying myself, she walked in. I put the towel around me and told her to leave. But she said I was foolish, that she was going to show me how nice it could be to be a REAL sister, real close to her.
23 She started trying to touch me. I kept backing away, but she kept coming nearer. Then, she grabbed the towel, yanked it away, and started saying I was so beautiful and that it was such a waste to know only men, that I had no idea of joy. Then, she took me in her arms and started kissing me.
24 I didn't want to hurt her, but I was terrified, so I drove my knee into her, and while she was regaining her wind, I ran to my room and bolted the door. She banged on the door and called me horrible names, saying I led her on, made her think I desired her."
25 Thorn Blossom began to weep bitterly. "I never," she cried, "I never looked at ANY woman like that! I'm not that way….I'm not! I feel so dirty, so sick, so ashamed! Please hold me, be a man to me, I've got to know I'm a woman, that I'm not like THAT! I never did ANYTHING, EVER!"
