24 "All ranks up!" called Bright Sword. "By the numbers fix bayonets! One, two, three!"
25 "You hear the beat!" cried Bright Sword, "Stand fast. Let them come to your steel, don't go to them. Help your neighbor. This is not a field of honor! Any damn way you can kill them! Stand fast! Stand!"
26 Through the smoke the enemy came, but most of them did not have a round left. The problem with repeating rifles was that many times the
users wasted their ammunition. Now, it was steel against steel, man against man, and at this there were none better than The Children of The Lords.
27 The first wave broke, then the second staggered back, then the third. And then, instead of rallying the enemy broke. In sheer panic they turned and ran.
28 The Drummer did not hesitate. For the third time he changed his beat; "TUM-Tum-TUM-tum, TUM-tum-TUM-tum!"
29 "You hear the beat!" screamed Bright Sword, "Forward! Forward!" But his people were already moving. Screaming like animals they were on the enemy's backs, rifle butts striking and bayonets flashing. The enemy had forgotten an old saying and it would cost him dearly. 'Never show your backs to The Children of The Lords!"
