They're going to have plenty of time to get to
their cannons and even getting that close there's going to be an awful
lot of them to deal with."
8 Leaping Toad stood up. "What if they're too busy ducking bottles of
Yellow Thunder to get to their guns?"
9 "Great idea," agreed Bold Fox, "but how are we going to get it to
them?"
10 "With my gliders," answered Leaping Toad. "I've got twelve in the
area. We can bring them all down here. We'll take up four or five small
bottles. That should keep them busy long enough for the train to get
into position. And if we're lucky, we may get a few of their cannon, or
their powder supplies."
11 "And if we can get some of those rockets," another man added , "we
can set them off, just before the train pulls out. By the time the
clouds clear the train can be well on its way."
12 "It looks better and better," smiled Bold Fox. "Let's begin
gathering the equipment."
13 "Lord," interrupted another Warlock, "I may have a weapon that would
make this whole attack unnecessary. I have been talking with a Healer
named Blue Blossom Boar. Using the new invention called the microscope,
she believes she has found the tiny animal that causes the Black Death.
14 She says that she can make uncountable numbers of these animals. She
calls them germs, which are carried in the water. She says if we dump
these just before the enemy comes down for water, within a few days
everyone in the city would be sick or, dead. I have brought her with
me. She is outside if you wish to talk with her."
