but a woman has the right to say no, and no man
can take that right from her. Do you think those seven men that went
into the nudist camp and attacked the two young women should go
unpunished because the women were naked?"
82 "No," agreed the man, "put them in punishment, yes, but taking their
manhood, that's wrong, that's cruel."
83 "I'll tell you something about the new statutes," snapped Smiling
Fox. "They put a man in punishment for two years for rape, then he's free again. Eight out of ten of them rape

these people never have their way and get in power and remove the new
statutes as they promised."
85 "Well, I hope they do!" put in another man, and many in the plane
nodded.
86 "Well, I hope you don't go bankrupt! " the other man continued,
"because if you do, under The Old Law you'd lose everything you've got;
under the NEW statutes you'd be left with some dignity."
87 "Yes," agreed another man, "you can do like my neighbor...run up
your bills until you're thousands of credits in debt, then declare
bankruptcy and still keep your house and car, then do it all over again
three times. His credit's no good any more in ONE city, so he's
changing his name and moving to another city where he can start all
over again."
88 Everyone on the plane roared with laughter. They were coming in to
land. It was getting late, so as they boarded their last plane and
headed for Charity, almost everyone on the plane was dozing, so there
was no conversation. Bullet, having nothing else to do, opened The
Sacred Writings he was carrying and was just glancing
