But new modern buildings spread out from the core, broad and flat, with gardens on their roofs these stretched for miles. With no sign of roads from the air, it was hard to tell how huge this city really was.
93 They got a cab and headed for their hotel in the heart of the old city. It was right in the theater district.  This had been The Oneness' entertainment center for generations, so, The Children of Spirit had let the Actors and Actresses stay in the city after the war.
94 Bullet read some of the marquees as they went by; 'The Man In The Wet Overcoat' a drama, 'Three In A Bed' a comedy, 'Only You Shall Know' a romance, 'The Smoking Gun' another drama. 'The Cards Are Blank,' drama. He wished he had time to see a play, but he knew that would probably be impossible.
