there's a question," he inquired, "whether or not your Lords will continue to bless you? I thought that was assured when you accepted Their Blessing."
10 "That is a mistake," explained Smiling Fox, "that a lot outside The Faith make. From the moment we are born we receive The Lords blessing, for we are sacred to Them.  But when we are old enough to understand what is right and wrong, if then we fail to keep The Law, to do what is good before The Eyes of The Lords, then They will turn Their backs on us.
11 The Lords do not accept the worship of evil doers. They know who it is that only say they believe. Unto them They give no favor."
12 ''Isn't that kind of foolish?" inquired Bullet. "Wouldn't it be better if They still continue to counsel?"
13 "They do," explained Smiling Fox. "Even to the lowest of Souls They still whisper wisdom. And even when a Soul plunges into The Darkness, They try to reach it. They forsake no Spirit, even the darkest ones, until the moment they either come to The Light, or, perish. They simply will not accept the praise of an evil doer, no matter how much, or, how elaborately they pray."
14 "I never pray at all!" sighed Bullet, "Yet Their Gifts to me have already been great. Why? I am no great man. I have never sought Their Wisdom. Why have They put me, one who tried to kill Their Messenger, in such a high position?"
15 Smiling Fox thought a minute. "You must have said something,'' he argued , "THOUGHT something that opened the Door for Them."
16 Bullet thought back for a minute. "I remember!'' he cried, "As I was coming down the aisle I was telling myself that miracles can't happen, that they were all trickery or made up stories.
17 Then he put the bullets in my hand, I felt his touch, and I felt goodness, like a wave of warmth, pass
