it was with Them.
39 Because there was purity in Their hearts, honor in Their Souls, that
Glory would pass through Them and harm them not. But those who were
evil, those who were corrupt, could not look upon that Light, could not
bear it, for in its brilliance they were forced to see what they really
were. That drove them mad, and made them blind."
40 "I still doubt," argued the man, "I still seek proof."
41 The boy shook his head. "The Lords," he announced, "will not waste
Their Power to dispel your doubts. The proof is here. It is written and
every Word is true. If you will believe, you will, if you will not, you
won't. That is YOUR choice, not Theirs. If you have so many doubts, why are you in this Temple?"
42 "My father always came," the man answered, "and his faith was like a
rock. Nothing that was ever said to him could make him doubt one Word
that was written. If he believed, so do I, even with my doubts."
43 "That is a good enough answer," agreed the boy.
44 A woman rose. "Lord," she asked, "why is it one man is blessed, or,
one woman? Thousands of women were captured by the enemy and I am sure
they prayed for miracles. Why were so few answered?"
45 "Maybe," answered the boy, "they accepted their fate, and asked The
Lords not to waste Their Power in their behalf. We cannot know every
circumstance. Perhaps the ones The Lords helped the most,
were those that didn't ask at all.
46 Did not Mountain Glory say , 'Of all women, I know not why The Lords
touched me, for I asked of Them no favor.' The Lords Wisdom is so much
greater than ours. They can see beyond the hours of tomorrow, They know what is in every
man's and woman's heart. They answer accordingly."
