9 Tell your parents, too. Let them know what is
happening. They'll help you. Get them to walk you to school in groups,
to take turns. If you group together, fight them, and tell your parents
what they are doing, you can stop it."
10 "But if we do THOSE things, they'll call us cowards," one boy
argued, "and, snitches."
11 "It is not cowardice to fight evil," insisted The Young Speaker, "or
to tell the truth. It IS cowardice to permit evil. Why do you care
what these ones say? They are the inferior, the doers of evil. Stand up for yourselves.
Fight back!"
12 Now, the children began to listen to him. Soon, if the bullies tried
to pick on one child, a hundred would come to his or her aide. Parents
started coming to the schools and complaining. They took turns bringing
their children to school and stood watch in the yard, driving the drug
dealers away.
13 Now, the Principal of the school didn't like all this. His son was
one of the worst bullies, and instead of getting his way, he was now
being attacked by the other students, and complained bitterly to his
father, that the other children were picking on him, all because of
this new student that encouraged them to fight.
14 The Principal swore out a complaint and called in The Guardian. This
was a mistake, for when The Guardian started to investigate, he came
under pressure from the parents in the school. Instead of arresting The
Young Speaker, he ended up arresting the Principal’s son and several of
his friends on various charges. The Principal was dismissed
for failing to perform his duties.
15 Children in other schools, hearing of The Young Speaker's success,
began to organize themselves. Soon, every school in the world had its
