I tell the military forces of Mozambique now, if your leaders make us come do not hinder us!  If you lock your weapons systems onto our aircraft, or, onto our vehicles we will fire!  We will defend ourselves.  If our troops enter your country, abandon your vehicles, turn your weapons away from us.  You will be taken into custody temporarily and cordially treated until we leave.  Only those that resist us will be harmed.  We do not want this confrontation, there is no need for this confrontation.  If the President of Mozambique says 'I ask The Spiritists to leave my country,' we will leave.  But we will take our property with us.  We will not submit to extortion!  The choice is his!  We would rather stay, we would rather continue to give jobs, to provide medical care and education, to help the people of Mozambique.  But the choice is theirs!  If they wish us to go, simply let us go in peace!  Thank you, ladies and gentlemen!"
The announcer's voice returned.  "Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen!  The Speaker has delivered The Republics' ultimatum to Mozambique!  The President of Mozambique is supposed to speak in about thirty minutes.  I'm sure he has listened to this broadcast and is contemplating what The Speaker has said, and knows fully well that our carriers and transports are off his coast, and that troops line his borders from South Africa up to Tanzania.  That our aircraft outnumbers his ten to one, we have five times the armor he does, that our equipment is the newest, and, the best, that his is old and outdated.  There is only one way a confrontation with us is going to end.  The UN representative, Mr. Ferdinand, is here with me.  Can I get your comments, sir?  I know the UN passed a resolution asking us to respect the sovereign territory of another nation.  But do you not think Mozambique's actions justify our protecting our citizens?"
A voice with a heavy Spanish accent answered.  "The people of Mozambique through their elected leaders, have a right to choose their destiny.  If they feel that they should nationalize their industries that is their right!  What has been built on their territories rightfully is under their jurisdiction.  If you have grievances they should be settled through the international courts, not through force of arms.  We do not believe your people will be mistreated if seizure takes place.  Most will probably be asked to stay and run the companies.  We doubt little will change!  And we see no reason for these pending hostilities.  Mozambique has asked for UN forces to help protect it.  If The Republics invade those troops may have to be sent.  If you will excuse me I have to report to my superiors!"
"Well, that's it from here!"  the announcer continued.  "It's now up to Mozambique, and we'll hear from their President shortly."
Warlock Young put her hand up in the air, put her fingers together and twisted them.  The young man on the radio understood and shut it off.  He looked at his superior and muttered, "Here we go, ma'am?"
The Warlock just smiled at him and rocked.  She just smiled and rocked.
