We see that Barbie is running for president
now. We would offer her a position with us, however first
she'd have to put on a little weight. We couldn't have a bulimic
appearing person in The White House influencing little girls to take
part in that problem.
So glad to see kids on spring break are not just
getting drunk and getting in trouble! Some young men in Florida
are heroes because they rescued a couple from their car that crashed
into a tree and was on fire after calling 911. The rescued couple
is recovering in a local hospital. Way to go guys!
Many thanks to our good friends Kevin & Bean at KROQ in Los Angeles for helping actor Adam West who played "Batman"
in the 1960s t.v. series finally get a star on The Hollywood Walk Of
Fame. Most certainly well deserved. Congratulations Mr.
West! I hear he had a wonderful time at the ceremony the other
day with his family, friends, and KROQ's Ralph Garman, Adam West's biggest
fan, who was invited to host. See what great things can happen
with God in your neighborhood? Of course Gerald is one of biggest
fans. Still wondering if he's doing any acting because there's a
couple of roles Gerald thinks he would be good in. We're trying
to get Arnold Schwarzenegger to do "The River Lady" and if West
was up to it he'd like to have him play the kind old doctor. Just
a small part but Gerald would just love to have him do it.
Who says miracles don't happen any more? Donna
Stevens from Grove City, Ohio was taking her dog for a walk when she
found a piece of paper on the sidewalk that turned out to be a check
written out to cash by Paul and Patricia Walden. for ten
dollars. What's amazing is it was written thirty years ago in
Henryville, Indiana, and must've been blown to Ohio by the terrible
tornadoes that happened last month! Two other families in Ohio
found checks made out by the Waldens recently, one in Jamestown from
1980 and one outside Cincinnati from 1984. Donna Stevens
and her cousin are hoping to find The Waldens. Her cousin learned
that they did used to live in Henryville. They're hoping to solve
this mystery soon! Wish that would happen to us!
Though I'm happy if I find a penny in a parking lot.
Glad to see that Twitter is suing five web sites that are
producing programs that make it easier for people to send spam
messages. The thing is they shouldn't have to to begin
with. Something more needs to be done to stop this
foolishness! I love Twitter and Facebook. We use them daily to
get our campaign messages out there. I hope the spammers get the
book thrown at them and then some, also, that they get the boot
too, from Twitter.
Here's the links to some of my previous messages.
