He's Not Man Enough!
By; God The Father

Here's a situation that happened to Demetrius many years ago that perplexed him then and still perplexes him to this day. He was working with a group helping people that had some serious problems. This one lady was being threatened by an abusive boyfriend who had injured several other women in the past and Demetrius and his friends were providing security at her home. One day when Demetrius was there the lady was more than a little drunk. She became quite sick. Demetrius got her into the shower, got her cleaned up, and put her to bed. Later when she recovered she asked how she'd gotten cleaned up.
Demetrius said "I hope you don't mind but I helped you a little!"
"But you didn't do anything else!" the woman remarked.
"No," Demetrius answered, "I don't take advantage of women. When I do that with them I like to have them fully conscious."
The woman looked at him very strangely and said "Oh!"
Later that day after Demetrius got home, the leader of his group called and said the lady had asked that he not come over any more, and Gerald asked "Why?"
"Well," his friend answered, "to put it bluntly, she doesn't think you're much of a man! You had an opportunity to take advantage of her, and you didn't and she questions her femininity. She's worried you might be interested in other things and take advantage of the boys."
"What?" Demetrius asked.
His friend burst into laughter. "I know," he remarked, "I can't figure it out either. I assured her you weren't interested in that kind of thing at all, but she still said she'd prefer not to have you around, you'd make her nervous."
"Weird!" Demetrius managed.
We will admit this is a phenomena We don't undersand, and this is not the only time that this type of thing has happened with Demetrius, and other men that he has worked with. It is a strange phenomena with some people that decency is not acceptable to them. They prefer cruelty and brutality, and men that act with decency are considered by them weak and perverted. It is something that We will never understand, something that We will never understand at all though We have had untold ages to try to! It simply makes no sense to Us, it makes no sense to Us at all!

Crockett's Last Stand

Sometimes those in The Afterlife get very irate with movie producers that rewrite history! Gerald was watching some videos the other day when he came across a scene from the newest version of The Alamo where Davy Crockett had been taken prisoner and Santa Ana offered him an opportunity to beg for his life. Crockett's response was that he knew they were going to win, and Santa Ana should surrender to him, then Crockett was bayonetted. Crockett was enraged! He understands theatrical liberty, but there are limits! Santa Ana's orders were "Take no prisoners! Kill everyone!" Don't people understand what that means? All the defenders were immediately killed. John Wayne's version of The Alamo, Crockett says, is perhaps the best representation of his death, except for the fact that he was never shot or lanced, but he did ignite the remaining powder, killing a considerable amount of Mexican soldiers with him. Crockett says he doesn't actually remember doing it, but this is what the surviving Mexicans told him happened. History should be honored, it should not be rewritten for entertainment!
