He is saying "We apologize, but CNN seems to be having difficulties bringing you the gay rights demonstration in Los Angeles! We hope these technical glitches can soon be fixed." In the second panel Jesus, Muhammed and Buddha have fire axes and are smashing computers and control panels in a control room. Jesus says "Muhammed, I've got these! Get those over there! Buddha, get the ones in the corner!"
