Declaration Of The Spiritist Religion

1. We do not believe in the creation of the universe, but that everything evolved, and continues to evolve through a natural order.

2. We believe that each person is responsible for the atonement of their own mistakes, and no one else can do this for them.

3. We believe that mental individuality continues after physical death and that people in the Material World can communicate with those who have died and entered The Spirit World.

4. We believe in friendship between all races and all religious creeds, and that no one should try to force their faith on others.

5. We believe that a person lives more than one lifetime in the Material World.

6. We believe that peace, love and logic should be the highest goals for the world.

7. We believe the male/female relationship is sacred and that all others are abnormal.

8. We do not believe in the use of drugs, except for necessary medicines, since they can destroy the Soul.

9. We believe that tyranny is wrong, and should be opposed with all effort.

10. We do not believe in human or animal sacrifices.

11. We believe in freedom and justice for all, but fair and just punishment for those who abuse others, whether they are rich or poor.

12. We believe that hate and fear destroy the soul. That the ultimate goal should be for one to defend themself, and not to hate their enemies. One should never strike the first blow in battle, only fight in self defense, and in defense of the weak

13. We believe that there are intelligent life forms other than in the human form within our galaxy, and we respect them.

14. We believe that logic should rule over emotions in decision making. Too much love, and, too much hate can destroy the Soul, and, the Souls of others.

15. We believe that the Earth has been visited by alien life forms, and is still being visited by alien life forms today.

16. We believe that the development of psychic abilities through any creed is good, as long as these powers are not used for evil purposes.

17. We do not believe in personal adornment, the wearing of makeup, jewelry, or altering the body by any artificial means.
