What Is Meditation?

Meditation is a deep form of relaxation and soul-searching. Different forms of it have been taught world-wide, but basically it follows similar patters. We would suggest a study of the simpler forms of yoga or another school of meditation. One of the greatest problems with meditation is that one form works excellently for one person, but does absolutely nothing for someone else! Therefore, it is extremely difficult to recommend one certain form here, but we will make some general suggestions that we have found helpful.
Form 1- Find a quiet place and either sit relaxed or lie down. Say Prayer of Protection three times. Breathe slowly and rythmatically and with each exhaling repeat the phrase "I am The Lords, The Lords are me." Try to keep all other thoughts out of your mind, just concentrate on the breathing and the phrase. If you become distracted or other thoughts enter your mind, do not become upset but simply let them pass and start again. Continue this for five minutes at first, and building it up to about fifteen minutes daily. Some people would appreciate a longer period of meditation. This is acceptable but we would not recommend more than one hour.
Form 2- Perhaps one of the simplest forms of meditation and one most people find very enjoyable. Take one of your favorite recordings, perferably an LP, place it on your phonograph (nowadays you'd use a CD machine with a replay cycle!) and repeat Prayer of Protection three times. Turn on your phonograph and begin the music. Standing in the center of the room, simply empty your mind and let your body move to the music. Don't try to do any particular form of dance. Just let your body move of its own accord. Many people find this a very good form of "unwinding".
These two forms of meditation can be blended together, but we would recommend you use the 'dancing' type meditation first, and follow it with the sitting or lying meditation. As we have said before, these are two forms of meditation that work for a great deal of people. If you do not find them comfortable or are already using a form that you find beneficial, by all means continue using it. The only thing we do not recommend is, don't go to some high pressure, expensive meditation group. You can get books from the library that will teach you just as much as they can, and it doesn't cost you anything. But make sure, with any form you use, to always say The Prayer Of Protection first!

Astrology

What Is Astrology?

There are natural flows of Power in the Universe. Ages ago, ancient wise men discovered that these Powers ebbed and flowed with certain formations of the stars and movements of the planetary bodies, and that people born under certain signs were affected by these energy flows. So they began to map and plot these star groups and give them names, and they developed a science by which they could identify certain characteristics of persons born under different signs. This science was given the name "Astrology."
There are so many books written on this subject that it would be useless for us to include the information in this guidebook. We suggest you study this subject separately. We will state, though, that the patterns laid out by the stars only show the plausible course that a person can take. The Power Of The Lords properly used can alter bad days and enhance good ones. Astrology predictions should only be used to point out certain ties that will not be as favorable as others. No one should ever feel they are doomed by an Astrology prediction.
