POLITICAL ACTION GROUPS
It should be the purpose of every good Christian to
fight any government regulation trying to prohibit any group or
individuals from running political ads for or against any candidate
they wish to support
or oppose. Every group or individual has the right to express their
opinion. If a politician is doing something they do not approve of, say
supporting the legalization of illegal drugs, they have every right,
during the voting process, to express their opposition to this elected
official's or candidate's views. The public also has the right to make
public any candidates voting record on any issue they oppose.
Campaigns cannot be reformed by denying the peoples'
right to speak. This is a ludicrous idea! Some people might not like
what a particular group is opposing their beloved senator or
representative on, but they have no right to try to silence their free
speech. It is not the way of God, and, not the American Constitution.
The people have a right to speak.
