First of all today an update on my husband Speaker
Gerald Polley's health issues with the colon cancer. Friday
morning I was going to visit him for the free lunch they have as the
nurse invited me. Last minute I decided to call to see if he was
up to having company or sleeping. To my shock the nurse told me
he wasn't doing very good, he was having awful pain and he was going to
be going to the emergency room at the local hospital so they could "Get
a better handle on the pain, so they could control it better."
They told me I had better go to the hospital instead of there. We were
there until soon after lunch time. Almost immediately the doctor
determined that the problem was his urinary catheter was blocked by a
blood clot. They ended up replacing the whole thing. That
cleared up his pain immediately! He got a nap then a little lunch
and I got to ride back to his place in the ambulance. I stayed
the rest of the day. Gerald was really tired because he didn't
get much sleep the night before and, because they had him on over 100
milligrams of morphine. He was really having a hard time thinking
straight too. I stayed until 7 o'clock then went home. The
nurses had their hands full taking care of him that night. He
didn't want to stay in bed and they didn't want him walking
around by himself.
Anyway everyone at the Rehab Center were very
pleased the problem wasn't because of the cancer and he was going to be
as wok as possible considering the circumstances. He also got the
chemotherapy pump removed so he wouldn't have to go back for that later
in the day. I went back Saturday and he still wasn't
feeling very well, possibly from the treatment. It has been one
hell of a week for both of us. I will be visiting him Sunday for
the Father's Day Barbecue which is for free. Will update
everybody later. I hope everybody likes my messages.
Unfortunately Gerald's head hasn't been clear enough from the pain
medication to dictate any messages right now. They've reduced his
morphine so hopefully it'll clear up soon. However he's still
here and fighting to save the world. We hope you will support
him. I think I would've been dead long ago if I'd have had the
pain he's had since this all started. I'm so proud of him for
still doing the treatments.
Now let's take a peek at what else is going on in the
world. Congratulations to one of our favorite countries, China,
for having their first female astronaut, Jing Haipeng, who is 45.
She is now on the country's most ambitious space mission yet, with two
male colleagues and they're going to try and dock with an orbiting
module and work there for more than a week! Way to go! We
wish them every success with this mission and those yet to come.
God praises five year old Tiana Evans from American
Fork, Utah who was at the public swimming pool when she swam under the
water and saw what she thought was a 4 year old girl trying to
pick up a ball from the bottom of the pool. Then she realized the
other girl was trying to get to the surface for air. The girl
grabbed Tiana's thumb and she pulled her up. This was a task out
of the ordinary for a child this young. Her guardian angels were
definitely with her! So glad both little girls are ok.
More demonistic activity this time in Studio
City, California, as a adult male body was found tied to a tree near
Harvard-Westlake, a prestigious private school. The cause of
death is under investigation. The man was in his thirties and
found across the street on Coldwater Canyon. More
mysteries! Stuff like this makes your imagination run wild
wondering exactly what happened.
To the disappointment of all UFO enthusiasts the
unidentified object at the bottom of The Baltic Sea has turned out to
be nothing but a giant mushroom! Darn! Maybe next
time.
