An Open Letter From Speaker Linda Polley
God's Candidate For The First Lady Of The United States In 2,012
To The World

Have just been reading about more
miracles. A woman in Australia had a premature son born at 27
weeks in March of 2,010. He was pronounced dead, then when his
mother touched him and told him good-bye he took his first
breath! Now he is celebrating his second birthday along with his
twin sister, who had no problems whatsoever when she was
born. So glad the little guy is doing well. The kid
just needed an extra charge from his mother.
I personally think the Lifetime t.v. series "Dance
Moms" has gone a little bit too far, having their daughters dress up in
skimpy Vegas show girl costumes and doing a fan dance. The article I
read about this said some of the little girls even felt uncomfortable
about doing this. After watching the clip of the dance I can see
why! The girls are definitely too young to be exploited like this
and with all the pedophiles out there watching it should have been
discouraged. I'm glad I've never watched this show. Another
program I would not promote is the "Toddlers And Tiaras" show.
They exploit these kids too young. I was especially disgusted to
hear that one little girl on the show was even wearing fake breasts and
make up to look like some singer or actress! It's up to the
parents rather these kids do shows like these and they need to have a
little bit more common sense towards how their children will be
presented to the public.
Recently a family was kicked off from a JetBlue
flight because their toddler had a temper tantrum as the plane was
getting ready to take off and she couldn't be controlled so anyone
could fasten her seat belt. The pilot made the decision to go
back to the terminal. The family had to stay overnight in an
hotel and take another airline to get to their destination. Some
people are complaining about this. However the pilot definitely did the
right thing. It was a safety issue, and if parents can't control their
kids, get them to obey the rules, they have to be put off the plane, no
ifs, ands, or, buts. I hope the rest of the family's trip went
much better for them.
A woman who has appeared on the reality show
"Extreme Couponing" has stated that getting stuff for free or nearly
free because you use coupons is like having good sex. I wouldn't
go that far! However I remember well back in the '70s Gerald was
one of the expert couponers. He did all the shopping for us as he
was fantastic at finding bargains anyway, and knowing the best prices
for things. I went along to help and, learn. If I remember
correctly we didn't even have to buy the newspapers we got the coupons
from. This was before recycling was popular, so we got our
newspapers out of dumpsters for this and recycled them this way.
It was amazing how much money we saved! We never bought anything
just because there was a coupon for it, just stuff we
needed. Well, if there was a deal on something we were
running out of soon, that's another story. It's been
awhile since we've done this. Once and a great while we use the
coupons that come in the weekly store fliers like for Burger King and
such. However we highly recommend using coupons when you have
them available. Like Gerald says "It adds up!"
