Greetings!
Well here we are again and the year is flying by! Tomorrow is October, already my favorite month! Let’s see what we can talk about today.
I’m shocked to read that several places in this country are having floods, and all kinds if bad weather. I suppose I shouldn’t be because I heard that good old El Nino is back and things are supposed to get worse than ever, weather wise, according to this. So far Maine has been good, just having a lot of rain but apparently not enough to get completely rid of the drought we’ve been having. Hope things keep looking up, weather wise.
So happy to hear that the passengers on a flight to Israel saved the plane and everyone that were on board by storming the cockpit when the pilot sent the plane into a nose dive. Aparently the copilot stabbed the pilot when he saw what he was trying to do then the passengers managed to get in, call for help and fly the plane to safety. Several of the passengers had cuts on their heads and so forth, but fortunately nothing serious. That was so scary right after 9/11 and the Flight 93 stories on tv! I can’t help literally breathe a sigh of relief after that one! I hope the co pilot and passengers are given a medal for their bravery.
Well, it’s getting time for the mid term general election. I just heard that President Trump’s ratings are at an all time low! Come on people! We gotta keep trying to make America great again! President Trump said he’s not running for himself he’s doing it for the people. We can’t let the Democrats win! Remember our old songs “Vote Republican” and “Stand Up!”
On the home front I’ve started a new project, it’s about time right? To make more room in my apartment I’m going back to scanning all my husband Gerald’s wonderful books he wrote and having them on digital. First I’m working on “Time Slip” an awesome science fiction book. It’s kind of rated PG or such, not for kids but definitely not rated R! If you like reading about time travel and life like droids who help people, you’ll love this story!
Otherwise things are ok, except still trying to clear up the last problem caused by the hacker this summer. I didn’t realize it’s so difficult to prove you didn’t do something. I’ll keep trying! I’m not if I can help it, going to pay a bill I didn’t cause!
So sorry to hear Nancy Guthrie is still missing. The news is saying they’re sure she’s dead now, but still need to know where she is. I pray for her loved ones and family. Hopefully someday soon our minds will rest at ease and she will be home again, no matter what the case.
Last but not least, congratulations to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce who are in the near future, going to be parents. Though I don’t agree with her political opinions, Taylor seems like a decent person. I wish I was half as talented as her! That’s definitely going to be an interesting household!
Well I guess that’s about it for this time. Don’t forget to get your flu and Covid shots! Stay safe! Happy Halloween!
