Greetings!
We’re back again! It’s hard to believe it’s September already! I didn’t think things could get any worse but now look!
First thing we’ve lost the Queen of Country Music, Dolly Parton, who died peacefully at home from cancer at age 80. I’ve always liked her music, even though I disagree with a couple of her political type opinions. I bet there was a wonderful reunion in The Afterlife between her and her husband and I also bet she’ll have a wonderful time singing with some of the famous singers gone before!
One of the worse disasters I’ve ever seen on the news took place last week in Nepal…The glacier collapse and flood that killed thousands of people. Some Americans and Australian are still missing. There’s not even room in the morgues and they’re having to put the dead in temporary mass graves. And there’s still the threat of more mud slides! The United States is sending huge amounts of help including many other countries. Just horrible! I hate to think of what disaster is going to happen next! I’m sending prayers to all the victims, their friends and families. Bless them all, every one!
Every time something like this happens I get the creeps thinking that our part of the world hasn’t had anything even half as bad as that happen in a long time. I hope our turn doesn’t come around any time soon. I was shocked to see an actual tornado touched down in western Maine the other day causing some small bit of damage! Let’s pray these weather disasters don’t head my way! I’m terrified of the darned things!
I’m shocked though I suppose I shouldn’t be to read people are still trying to get President Trump out of office. Hang in there, Mr. President! You’re the only one for me, and lots of others who voted for you!
On the home front still working on getting rid of a couple of hacker based issues here. The nerve of these guys never ceases to amaze me! Hopefully no more will bother me ever again!
