Greetings!
Well, here we are again. It’s hard to believe I’m now 75 years old! So glad I made it and hope I get to be 100 or even older as long as I’m in as good a health as I am now!
Once again there’s been so much going on in the news it’s very hard for me to keep up with it all. However the most important thing in the news right now is all the horrible weather this country is having. Prayers to everyone involved in that mess. Here in Maine we’ve been pretty good. We did have a couple of days of that horrible heat wave, mostly it’s been raining, yes raining with high humidity. Blah! Brings kind of a new meaning to the phrase “Under the weather.”
Still the terrible war in Iran continues. I guess they did have a brief cease fire but apparently not many liked the terms. There’s got to be something wrong with the other party. I mean how is it going to help anything if both us and them keep taking turns blowing stuff up? Though I did read there’s been some progress in the talks with Hamas. Probably be the same old thing. They’ll say one thing and do another. It makes me mad just to think about these things.
Now I read there’s bad guys here in this country threatening to do stuff with our water systems and whatever. I hope they’re caught and stopped before they even get a chance to try anything!
Sixty days have gone by without a trace of Nancy Guthrie who was kidnapped from her home and hurt in the middle of the night. I feel so bad for the family. I guess I’m not the only one who thought this case would be solved in no time. I guess now the FBI and the sheriff of that Tucson county or whatever are arguing over how they could’ve done something more and other things the right way. Sigh! But it’s good news that they’re still investigating with a fine toothed comb so to speak. It would help everybody to know if she’s dead or alive. Someone said they have a new person they’re questioning. Let us pray something helpful comes of it.
A friend asked me why Those in The Afterlife haven’t helped find Nancy, that it should be that someone over There helps those in charge and leads them to her location. I had just one word answer “Demons!” They’re doing all they can to mess things up and make it so she’s never found. Just because they’re evil, that’s what they do. They thrive on all the negative energy these situations create. Unfortunately they’re too good at what they do. I pray the authorities keep working on this case, you never know what helpful bits and pieces you could find! The Lords Of Light are helping. They’re doing what They can no matter how difficult it may be.
In entertainment news sad to hear about the passing of one of my favorite actors of all time, Randolph Mantooth who starred on the tv series “Emergency!” as John Gage, paramedic. I thank him for all those good years and wish him well. He did very well! Unfortunately he died of cancer but he was at his home with loved ones at age 80. I can imagine how he was overwhelmed by being greeted by many spirits who were his fans, as the show was rebroadcasted over There. May he rest in peace. Thanks for the delightful memories and all you did promoting the paramedic health system.
The late Princess Diana is very proud of Princess Kate and how she and her husband are raising their children. They are back in England but refused an offer from the King I guess it was to live in the palace, instead chose a residence that was important to her, where she once lived. They will be living there apparently. So sad to read about all the fighting and discourse among England’s Royal Family. Hopefully things will work out well for them.
On the home front and last but not least July 14th was my 75 birthday! Hard to believe I’ve been around that long! But I want to live to be 100 or older. Had a good day, though quiet at home. I received a couple of wonderful gifts. It was a good day! The day after I realized not only did I not have a birthday cake, I forgot to eat any of the ice cream I had in the freezer! I was too busy relaxing and watching t.v.
Just an added note, I have had horrible trouble with two hackers. They got in my laptop somehow and caused all kinds of havoc, then locked it up so I couldn’t use it! It was the one my best friend got me for my birthday three years ago! Then there was a second one pretending to be working for my cell phone providers. They even stole a lot of money from my credit card! Fortunately aI was able to get it back from the company. Anyway just a heads up…they’re out there. And age doesn’t make any difference. I’ve been hesitant to mention this, I didn’t want to get any more unwanted attention even though last time I had protection but it failed! I was shocked. Anyway I got a new HP laptop which is Honey Lavender in color. It’s beautiful and though it has only a 14 inch screen instead of 17 it’ll do very well. Plus that my Samsung Galaxy Tab died and I had to get a replacement, this one has a 13.1 inch screen! I hope nobody else out there has trouble like I did. It’s so frustrating to get things back the way they’re supposed to be.
I guess that’s about it. Sorry last month’s blog post ended up being for July but I had a hard time logging in to my web site provider’s site to put it up. When it finally let me in it was just after midnight! Nothing I could do so I just put the note on it about why it was there. Hopefully this one will go more smoothly!
Last but not least I hope it comes true and President Trump has asked that Daylight Saving Time be made permanent. No more changing the clocks around! Woo hoo! I hope they do this and keep it! No more spring ahead and fall back! That would be a blessing!
