Greetings!

Happy 4th Of July! Just had to say it!  As usual there’s so much going on it’s hard to decide what to write about, and to remember!  Unfortunately, the war still continues.  Though I guess now there’s a cease fire or such.

It’s upsetting that in Africa there’s anti-immigrant protests going on.  For the first time that I can remember my favorite wildlife show Safari Live has cancelled a safari drive to keep everybody with Wild Earth safe.  I read they’re expecting violence even though it’s said the march should be peaceful, and several foreign nationals have left South Africa some leaving family members behind.  What scary times these are!   I  hope everything stays peaceful but I’m always afraid there’ll be somebody out there that wants to start up needless violence.   Stay safe as much as you can, people!

So scary the rare double earthquake in Venezuela!  No wonder I always wake up worrying something will happen here like that in the middle of the night! So far so good.  Maine is pretty safe from natural disasters.  Their only environmental concerns now are beach erosion, and recently there was a bad drought.  Once and a while in winter, there’s a huge blizzard.  And every few years we’ll get the tail end of a bad hurricane or tropical storm.

Also scary President Trump’s approval rating Is going way down lately.  I hope something good happens for him and it will go back up very soon.

Hard to believe it’s the last day of June already.  The 4th of July is also the anniversary of my late husband Gerald’s death from colo rectal cancer.  I was with him til the end and after in the nursing home.  I stayed until they took him away.  Bless him a million times over for trying so hard to make the world a better place so it wouldn’t end.  He had to put up with so much pain.  I pray his reward in The Afterlife was more than worth it.  Somehow I have a feeling it was and then some!

Almost forgot to congratulate singer Taylor Swift on her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce.  It’s supposed to be July 3 possibly at Madison Square Garden.  So far the location is a secret.  I’m sure it’ll be one awesome event.  Even though I don’t agree with her political opinions, I hope they stay together for a long, long time.   Hey Gerald and I were married for 40 years!  If I can do this anyone can!

Last but not least July 14th 2,026 I will be 75 years old!  I can’t wait til I’m 100!  As long as I’m in as good a health as I am now.  I really can’t complain.

Stay safe and see you next time!
