Things have been slow, but now I’m back to catch up with the national news. Firstly I was shocked to find out I had a virus in my computer! I have Norton’s Internet Security which I swear by for protection. However for a time I was using the Firefox browser and the damn hackers put an add on in it I didn’t even know about which was something about Coupons. I can’t remember the exact name of it. Needless to say I uninstalled Firefox and by then Google Chrome was through with its updates and back to normal. It’s my favorite browser so I got that back. Apparently I hadn’t gotten rid of all the virus and when I updated Internet Explorer the other day it came back with a vengeance! I called Nortons, one of their amazing techs hooked up to my pc and ta da! All free and clear in a couple of hours. He even gave me tips for keeping it that way. I highly recommend all of Norton’s wonderful computer protection products and services. Now, enough about me, let’s get back to the rest of the world!
God blesses the people of South Carolina whose state House passed a bill Wednesday that declares Obama’s Affordable Care Act “null and void” and also “makes its implementation a crime.” More states need to do this Congress will be voting on it soon anyway. Come on people! Let’s wake up and give Obama Care the boot!
This helps point out some of what’s wrong with the world. The Democrat’s House Minority Leader from California says she’s praying that Hillary Clinton will run for president in 2016. Not on my watch! However the way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised if the dark ones got her to run.
More of God’s praises go to You Tube sensation Antoine Dodson who used to be gay and now has publicly renounced homosexuality. He has also announced on Facebook that he’s become a “True Chosen Hebrew Israelite and descendant of Judah.” He’s not interested in homosexuality any more and now wants a wife! He says he didn’t change his ways because of praying the gay away. He really wanted to change his life, so he read the Bible a lot. It just goes to show the truth is in there. He now realizes that it was a mistake to want to be a woman, and it’s better to to be with them. He also says his days being gay were dumb. He’s not ashamed of his past. He wants people to see how he used to be and what he was delivered from. It really sounds like this young man is sincere in his faith and has made good progress. I pray others who are gay will see the light and follow in his footsteps. It’s stories like this that make me think there may yet be some hope for the world.
So scary the huge fire in California! Especially since they say it’s heading towards Malibu and I’m not positive but I think that’s near where our actress friend Lorielle New lives. I hope they can get it under control before it gets that far. Apparently no one took God’s suggestion of doing like they do elsewhere and using goats to clear the brush away. It’s really dry here in Maine too. There’s a fire danger warning out.
Teen singer Justin Beiber has earned a few points with fans in Turkey as he stopped his concert twice last Wednesday for the Muslim call to prayer. Muslim fans are saying not even Muslim performers do this. Maybe he finally did something right?
What better way to end this than on an adorable note? In Bedford Massachusetts the first weekend of May they had a pageant for gerbils! This competition draws national attention and is held by The American Gerbil Society. They have gerbil races and agility demonstrations. The winners get ribbons. They’re soo cute! I think that’s a great thing. Congratulations to all the winners. Unfortunately I can’t afford a pet but if I could I would definitely consider one of these.
