Greetings!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! We actually made it to 2,016! Now to make it the best year ever!
What a surprise to see that Congress finally put a bill on Obama’s desk which would repeal Obamacare! It also would defund Planned Parenthood, which is not, despite popular opinion, all bad. Unfortunately no doubt he’ll veto it. However just the fact it got that far shows there’s still hope for the world.
So happy to see that Donald Trump is still in the running for president! It so irritates me when reporters and others say that he’s doing things “just like Hitler.” Nothing could be further from the truth! Some reporters are also saying they think that when it comes right down to voting people will be saying they support Trump, but will actually vote for someone else. I highly doubt that too.
I was shocked to read that Jeb Bush, formerly one of God’s heroes, is saying he wants to revamp the welfare system which would eliminate the food stamp program and the housing assistance also. He was my second choice for president, now forget him! No way!
Not sure if I read this right, but it seems like Hillary Clinton is going to peoples’ houses in New Hampshire securing their vote before the upcoming primary in that state. She’s been wearing cleats on her boots and carrying a clipboard for people to sign their names on. I would’ve thought this type of activity was beneath her. It proves nothing is below this demon to get America in her wicked clutches. Let us pray this never happens. It’s so hard to believe with everything bad that’s been coming out about her and her husband good ol’ Bill, that they’re still going strong. Goes to show you the state of the world. Everybody just considers the bad reports are just someone’s attempt to bring them down because their personal opinions, they don’t have facts. I just don’t understand it! Why do so many out there want unsavory people to prosper? Need I mention Obama?
It was hard for me to believe the news I heard today from our friends Kevin & Bean on KRQO in LA, that music legend David Bowie was dead at the age of 69 after battling cancer for 18 months. Not many people even knew he was sick. I was surprised to realize how many songs he put out I really enjoyed but didn’t really know anything about the artist. At least he died peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Not really surprised to learn he was a friend of John Lennon who co wrote the song “Fame” with him and even sang it with him on the record. I hope I’m right, but I have a feeling he made it to The Afterlife and he is hanging out with John getting adjusted to things over There. Once again I wish I had Gerald’s ability to contact Those Over There so well.
On the home front I had a good Christmas and New Year. I am thrilled to report that my new year’s wish came true the Saturday after, when a friend too my neighbor and I to Bangor to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” It was awesome and I highly recommend it! I have pre ordered the blu ray version on Amazon.
