Here with more of what’s going on out there. I’m pleased to see that the first of its kind law in California which prohibited licensed psychotherapists from counseling gay minors is being legally tested. Friday people who support what’s known as “reparative therapy” asked a federal judge to block this ban. I hope they win. As Gerald always said, after all homosexuality is a mental illness and apparently the families of boys who had the therapy and it turned out successful for them are fighting to get it back. As someone said, who would want these young people to turn to unlicensed psychotherapists? With this ban there’s a chance people could end up with them. Not cool. I pray those who want to stand with God on this matter win.
On the same topic, I see Pennsylvania now has the first openly gay lawmaker. He is a Republican. Not good, definitely not good at all for the state, or, the Republican party.
Good old Rush Limbaugh is at it again. He said why Obama wants to go over the fiscal cliff is then there would be a “Democrat orgasm”. Because taxes would go up and that’s “nirvana” for them. He says if that happens in January Obama gets to make a national speech, blame the Republicans for it, and make tax cuts. Now that’s telling it like it is!
Looks like the dark ones are getting desperate for energy again! Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend, the mother of their infant daughter, by shooting her several times, then killed himself in front of his coach just inside the entranceway to Arrowhead stadium with a hand gun. He thanked the coach for everything he’d done for him. He was only 22 years old. His three month old daughter is unharmed and being taken care of by family. Condolences to family and friends. I find it surprising that he graduated from, of all places, The University Of Maine.
So sad that singer Stevie Wonder is canceling a concert for Friends Of Israel Defense Forces, a group that raises money for Israeli soldiers and their families, because of the current conflict. The UN recommended he cancel this because he’s the messenger of peace for the organization. There were several petitions signed to stop his performance.
On that same topic I’m pleased to see that The U.S. is one of the countries against the Palestinian state.
Looks like the people of Kentucky got something nobody bargained for. The mayor of Olive Hill, Kentucky was arrested for allegedly selling an unspecified amount of marijuana in the parking lot of an elementary school, which is a felony, last Wednesday night according to a local newspaper. He sold it to an undercover informant. It was also found he had an open container of alcohol in his car. Thusly, he resigned that same night. He had never done anything like this before. More work of the dark ones, no doubt.
