Have been fairly busy here, and haven’t seen too much to write about. However now I’m back and I’m sure I can dig up something.
First of all I watched The Golden Globe Awards Sunday night. I found it a tremendous insult to my friend in The Afterlife, President Lincoln, that they had Bill Clinton on stage speaking about the movie “Lincoln” and complimenting him. I’m sure he felt the same way! Gerald wrote an article about Lincoln’s feelings about The Clintons in a back issue of Voices From Spirit Magazine. That’s how I know he was not pleased.
Awesome! I just heard on The Kevin And Bean Show, KROQ Los Angeles that our old friend Jimmy Kimmel is beating out all the other late night talk show ratings in his earlier time slot! Woo hoo! Keep up the good work! I knew he could do it. The other guys are good but Jimmy is younger and has that special spark. He also has a bigger variety of material on there. By the way, the new set is great, though I still have fond memories of the one they had when I was on the show.
About time, isn’t it? Monday a trial began in Philadelphia for the Roman Catholic priest and a former Catholic school teacher accused of raping an altar boy back in the late 1990s. The accuser says he was abused by two priests and his former six grade teacher. The teacher and one of the priests say they’re not guilty. We’ll soon find out as the jury has been selected.
Good to hear that former president George H.B. Bush may be leaving the hospital soon!
I can’t forget to mention I was very touched Sunday morning. A neighbor left 26 pennies wrapped in lined notebook paper outside my door. The note with it read “Linda, please accept these pennies as my 1st of #26 acts of kindness for the children and teachers that lost their lives 12/14/12. Anonymous.” The pennies are of course for me to use at bingo here on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I was almost in tears with the sentiments. If more people could do things like this what a much better world it would be. I wondered what I could do. I saw on the news a few weeks ago there are several people “paying it forward” with kindnesses for the children of Newtown. God blesses them, along with the children and teachers that lost their lives a hundred fold.
So glad to hear Robin Roberts will be back on Good Morning America in a few weeks after her treatment for her rare blood and bone marrow disorder.
I see Kate Middleton will be having her baby in July. They won’t reveal if it’ll be a boy or a girl. I hope things work out well. Wouldn’t that be something if it was born on my birthday, July 14th?
Looks like several UFOs have been reported on video taken at the International Space Station. Wonder what’s going on? Our friends in The Galactic Community usually make it a point to steer clear of any video cameras as much as possible. Last I knew Gerald said the news from them was that several of the races who are members were moving their bases of operation because it was so easy for Earth’s cameras to spot them. Maybe this is what the lenses are capturing. I hope it’s no hostile forces sneaking through the blockade of Earth. That seems highly unlikely.
